We’re naturally drawn to pictures of people

Faces bursting with character are endlessly fascinating. They draw the viewer into the picture and help them make an emotional connection with the people being photographed. Who are these people? What are they thinking? Where did they come from?

I love photographing people because they are so unpredictable. Moods and facial expressions can change in a split second, unveiling a completely new story.  I watch, I listen, and have the patience to wait. Eventually the real person emerges.
